Hi, I’m Eileen Meehan, the proud owner and operator of Sun n’ Sup, a paddle board and beach shop nestled in the heart of the Okanagan. As a lifelong outdoor enthusiast and a veteran in the ski and sportswear industry for over 40 years, I’ve always been drawn to adventure, great gear, and connecting with people who share a love for the outdoors.

At Sun n’ Sup, I wear all the hats—from curating high-quality, dependable products to chatting with customers and making sure everyone leaves with a smile (and maybe a new paddle board!). Our shop, housed in a funky old garage and gas station, comes to life each season from mid-April through September. Then, like clockwork, we pack everything up for the winter to make space for boats and cars, only to rebuild the magic again in the spring.

What makes Sun n’ Sup special? It’s more than just a shop; it’s a community. I love seeing familiar faces return each year, sharing paddling tips, and even handing out treats to my four-legged visitors. Plus, our location in Naramata means you can demo a board just minutes from the shop—because trying before you buy makes all the difference! If paddling is not your thing, we have lots to offer with a great selection of summer clothing. Dresses, shorts, men’s woven shirts, sun hats, UV shirts, sandals, sunglasses and a whole lot more.

When I’m not at the store, you’ll find me skiing, paddling, running, cooking, and probably enjoying a great cup of coffee. I’m passionate about environmental conservation and support organizations like Sea Shepherd to protect our oceans. My philosophy? Always consider the impact of your actions. Whether it’s reducing vehicle idling, keeping our waters clean, or simply helping someone find their perfect board, small choices add up to make a big difference.
